Damn! I shouldn't have answered that poll about age.

Actually there are a lot of young people who like country. But you're probably a city slicker. :D

I chose rap, just because I'm already having a bad day and that's what I listen to when I'm angry.

What do you see as the difference between Hip Hop and Rap? Just because I get annoyed at people who say shit about it without knowledge lol no offense though. Hip Hop = The whole movement, it's a culture, a lifestyle made of 4 main elements being Rapping, DJ'ing, Graffiti and B-Boying (DO NOT CALL IT BREAKDANCING!!!). Rap is the music part of it. Meh, just whenever I see someone talk about that I have to give a little rant :D. And Tequila Jake is right, you should have included Country, Blues & Jazz.

Or you could have said "What's your favorite music genre?" and given the options "Underground" or "Mainstream Commercial Bullshit" :P

So if hip hop is a culture then that option should of been left out cuz the rap is the music part. Other wise you'd have to include hillbilly too, cuz thats a culture and country is the music. :d

Light Rock is singer/songwriter music, coldplay, crap like that.

Hip hop is a mix of R&B and Rap. Like that one song on Slumdog Millionaire, Paper planes is an example.

Dan, your nothing but a post whore, when you have nothing to say, you resort to being a hater.

Nope, I live in the country, work on a farm during the summer, and work for a lumberjack during the winter. I know the "country experience" but it is the last genre in mind since I never listen to it.

No. I just have many posts cause when this forum was cool and the off topic section was booming, back when a few other people were here. We would post all night.

And I am being a hater because there is something to be hated on.

And if I had nothing to say, I wouldn't say it.

Now I think you are being the hater.

And I have been on this forum longer then you.

Go pick on James or something. He joined after me and has more then double the posts.

that sounds like uh the jonas brothers to me.

holytacoshells
07-06-2009, 03:25 AM
No I'd categorize Light rock more as of Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, nothing hard, but still fits within Rock category, still see em on VH1 Classic and shit like that. But they're not hard, more of a singer songwriter, the Jonas Brothers needa die. So don't expect that shizzle from me here lol.

id say dylan is more of a bluesy/folk artist, but i get what youre saying.
its so hard to classify so many artists.

It is, there's probably a million genres, but if I here Jonas Brothers again, I'm going to do something to someone on mobsters that will hurt, may be the person that does so, but I am not making threats, just generating ideas to myself quietly.
