Mission for people with excess cash

Here is my idea for a mission that would make Mobsters a little more real....

Bribery (numbers are just an example)
Cost - 10 energy, 10,000 -100,000
Loot - Rare item (something you normally need favor points to get)

This way those users that can not gain the favor points have a chance at the rare items that we miss out on and we have something to do with the excess cash we can't bank.


You could even make it so that we could bribe a specific Mobster for an item they have. That way we could help each other out, a "You scratch my back, I scratch yours" kind of thing. Which is something real Mobs do.

now by reading that i assume u don't buy favor points

now the gf is only interested in making money now when he has made enough money he tweaks the game a bit more to keep players interested and ultimately buy gf points from him(which surprisingly works)

so what you r suggesting that the gf tweaks the game so everyone can have rare items(which then wont be rare items as everyone will have them) and the gf lose money

well hmm...for some reason i don't think the gf wants to do that

You are right I do not buy favor points. I have two children that need food and clothes more then I need favor points for a computer game. And I do see your point as to the fact that the Godfather is only out to make money and that is really sad to be honest with you. One would think that a game designer would be more interested in making a game that people want to play and not one that they are willing to walk away from. I am not saying he should not be rewarded for his time and energy, cause I know it takes a lot of time to make a game like this, what I am saying is he could help out the people that need a little in this day and age. He doesn't have to put ALL the rare item in the mission, for that matter he could have a whole different section of items to win. Collections of things like Mafia Wars (and yes I have read enough here to know that a lot of Mobsters don't like Mafia Wars, but I for one love it) has that can give you a boost to your bast attack and defense.

because eventually the godfather will realize a lot of people have figured out that le items aren't jack compared to hired guns.. and with him forcing people to level.. eventually nobody is gonna want his le stuff.. so he might as well give it away

i don't really think this would work, the godfather only wants to make money, and if limiting us in anyway makes him money, he'd do it, if by making us have 1 health for all of us makes him money, he'd do it, but if he gives people favor points for free he'd be loosing money and then he'd probably just go insane (if he hasn't already O.o).

my point is that he won't ever want to give favor points away, he makes money off it, oh and to help people get a better image of the godfather..imagine George Burns (from the simpsons) + Ebenezer Scrooge
