View Full Version : I Got Banned From Offerpal because I Bought Points and Never Recieved Them.

On June 22, 2009, I bought $5 of favor points. I should have gotten 20 points but I never did. I waited 3 days, then I complained that I never got the points and sent them the confirmation email. Then I log in today and it says, "You are banned from Offerpal." Ummmm this is ****ed up all I wanted was my 20 points which I bought. I have the recipt in both my Paypal and my email to confirm. I would like my points....Can someone help me???

Be glad it was only $5 - some have spent hundreds to thousands and gotten banned from the entire game without valid explanation as to why!

Hello Boss! Been busy moving - doing that sucks as you know! Spent nearly a month painting, then a a week moving then another week of painting old house, then a month or better getting unpacked.
Finally getting settled into new place so shouldnt be long and I will be able to return to my normal playing times! See ya soon!

Still unable to get a legit response from playdom support!
First they responded saying I was submitting fraud reports ... 100% NOT true!
I have received information that you submitted fraudulent reports to my offer providers. They flagged your account as being one engaging in these activities and asked for you to be suspended from the game. There will be no retractions of these suspensions and you will have to wait until whatever time is listed before you can return to playing the game. If you received a message stating that you have been permanently suspended, I am very sorry, but this will not be overturned.
Next they changed their minds and said I was using a bot. 100% NOT true!

It's illegal to use automated tools when playing Overdrive and your account will continue to be prohibited from playing until the bot is removed. I have spent money out of my pocket to play playdom games - totalling well over $5000 - and all I get is BS responses? Shit I can't even get a god damn number to speak with someone about it? Thats NOT how you treat customers and consider what I've spent I think I should be a valued customer, but all I get is shit upon! I think its time to contact a lawyer!

kind of sux if you were scammed by gambit you could of filed a complained vs them as my mother is a prosecuting state attorney for the state of Michigan. my father plays this game as well and he got hosed well over $200.00 which is a felony in the state of Michigan. and since my mother is a attorney and works with both canadiean and other state attorney generals shes got a lil clout to get these guys fines and penalties for their accused internet frauds.

I was contacted the day I made the post above [09.03.09] by someone at Playdom ...
They asked for my phone # and the best time to call. I told them my # and said please call at @ 2:30pm EST - they did call, but it was at 4:15pm EST and I wasn't home.
They sent another email [09.09.09] stating I was unable to be reached please give a better time. I told them please call me tomorrow at 12:30 EST - again they never called.
I havent heard anything else from them - they sure do need to work on customer support! Simple enough they make it right and unlock my OD account; course I reckon a lawyer might get them to at least come to the table!

I'd call my credit card provider and have the charges reversed. If you paid and they never delivered, you have every right to dispute the charges and request a refund. File a fraud complaint with the VISA and/or Mastercard people... or your bank.
I bet they'd notice THAT.

He's exactly right... while you are going through the Brain Damage of settling this out, get your money back, all of it! Take 2 minutes to go and get playdom cards wherever they are sold... I see people having problems day in and day out. Tbh, I think its some guy sitting next to a CC machine and manually entering in the numbers (probably not but the results prove other wise).
if getting your FP are that big of a deal to them then tell them forget it and you'll handle it without you contacting playdom, contact your CC company and end it right now.
