I want to know why I could be killed at least 20 times when I was offline

yet i can not do it back to the three people that bushwacked me out of nowhere... I was hitlisted at least twice on sat. evening and punched to death at least 10 -15 times and i wasnt online after 7pm sat. yet when i logged in at 3am all this had happened 5 hours ago it said .... that would have made it around 10pm I guarantee I wasnt even on the computer after 9:30 WTF

Yeah. I had been under the impression that once you're killed when off-line, you stay dead until you log back in and start regaining health again. That's not true as I found out.
