You must be using some f***ed up form of buying favor points.
There are several ways to pay for favor points but there is only one way I would suggest. In the picture I have attached you will see two boxes. The yellow box is what I use and never have a problem (sends you a site that looks like: https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/signup.cgi Please note this link will get you nowhere so do not click on it.). I have bought favor points several times from there and have NEVER had an issue. The ones grouped in red I believe are part of the Offer providers and I would not recommend using them.
I hope it works out to where you get your favor points. If not this should hopefully be a learning experience to you as well as others. Any time you enterer personal information online, such as credit card information, you are WILLINGLY taking a great risk.

Thanks. I will keep that in mind. I made the mistake of using an offer. I did want to use netflix again BUT I expect to get what I pay for. PayPal also is going to refund my cash and Godfather will be getting an inquiry letter. Of that I am 100% positive.

I strongly advise anybody thinking of doing an offer that requires payment for Favor points to think again. There is a very good chance that you may not get your points.

how long has it been since you did the offer? And did you file a missing points complaint with the offers people? If you did they usually will pay you within 24 -48 hrs. And do you have a screen shot or email confirm to send them a proof you did the offer?

Not to be rude, but, if memory serves right, CA law is about as stable as a meth addict.
With how stringent the offer details are for the favor points, there is likely something that you missed that will certainly get the case thrown out of court.
I'm willing to bet that whoever manages both sides of the offer made sure to have their bases covered.

I have heard of many instances where people pay for services and are supposed to get favor points. They get charged but never get their points. My P.O.V. is if you are goin gto spend money do it directly from the game.

You said that you "want to use netflix again" - if you have did this offer and been awarded the points already for signing up at any given point - then you will not get the points again. See Netflix when you sign on welcomed you back correct? If they did then you have already used it before and been awarded points and therefor netflix will not award you the points again.
If not - then yes you got screwed. I have worked on getting 100 hired guns for the last year through free offers/surveys and most of them I have had to file a complaint to ensure that I received my points - for the last 7 or 8 months I have always completed screenshot when doing the offers to ensure that I have proof. This might be something you want to do in the future.

what i dont get is for some one being a cop and knows the laws why would you channel your thoughts and threads through the forum? why not do it the legal way through contacting playdom? i think i know why. its because you don't have a clue what your doing and just did a random google search about internet sales and posted it. and you are more than likely not a member of law enforcement. but sonr kid or used car lot security guard trying to break bad. did i hit the bullseye or what!?!?!?

This will not fly. You got the product that you provided the credit information for. The "favor points" are offered by the offer hosting company, not the offer itself. Thus, you are not paying to use the offer hosting company, so you can not sue the offer hosting company for not giving you their free, non-charged, items. The only thing you can do is raise a dispute with your credit card company to drop the charges for the service you were charged for. The only way you could 'prosecute' for your godfather points is if you bought them directly from the mobstersapp game and were not rewarded them. Because that explicitly says you are paying for the godfather points.

but... the points are used to entice, and do come with the offers when completed. most wont do the offers with out the points. so in fact you are buying both product and offers when you do the offers. thats like buying a car from the dealer and not getting the tires cuz the add didnt mention tires. as far as mobster being sued cuz it the advertiser promising the offers and not the god father. well that goes hand in hand he allows these people to use his buss. as a funnel to sell their product and if illeagle activity is going on then he need to ban them and make it right. if i rented a house knowing that it was used for criminals id be prosecuted for aiding and abetting known criminals. but it will never get to that point as far as the offers are concerned. but it can be prosecuted but most wont even bat an eye at it.

The offer company will not be liable. It will immediately get thrown out of court. If you've bought a car, the tires are included in the contract as it is considered the full car.

and in the contract in the offers section it says complete the offers in full and receive favor points. It never will go to court so really this threads a waste of internet space. Lol!!!

Right, but they have like the perfect business model to save them from any issue. I will base this off of the Offerpal service as it's what I have right now. Offerpal is a platform for the offer companies to distribute whatever offer they want. The offer is given a set value of virtual currency and placed on the platform. Now, the offer reports back to the platform that the goal has been achieved (if you have finished the what the offer company wanted you to) and then the platform rewards the game who's hosting the platform (the godfather in this case) with virtual currency (which will be exchanged for real money credited to them however they want) and then rewards the user with their own virtual currency (godfather points). So they really can not be held liable for anything except the person who is hosting the app if he doesn't get the money payback for the virtual currency he had received as it deals with real money and an actual contract has been made. The problem that you didn't receive the points is based on the offer not reporting back to the platform that the goal has been achieved, as Offerpal doesn't take any responsibility for the offers, they're golden. And if you get the product that you paid for, downloaded, etc. from the service, then neither party is liable as the problem lies withing the transmission from offer->platform. "We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Offerpal Media, and you do so at your own risk." It's freaking flawless and anyone who gets screwed is practically S.O.L. :p *NOTE TO OP* - read your ToS before you waste time on bringing up legal matters. ;)

The only thing the OP can do, besides contact some discriminatory service like better business bureau, is contact the Offerpal service and talk about what happened. "Once we receive your transmission of information, Offerpal Media makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems." customersupport@offerpal.com
