Switch Mobsters/Start New Mobster (beta)
I've been getting a lot of requests from you guys to change your name and/or restart with a new character. Here's the answer to those requests! You can now create up to 3 Mobsters under the same account for free. Each of these Mobsters will share: favor points, mob members, and achievements. Inactive (saved) characters do not regenerate or make money, but also cannot be attacked. You can switch characters once every 60 minutes. Let me know if you have any questions/concerns regarding this feature. Thanks!

I have 5 slots. I have 4 characters and 1 extra slot ready for me to start another character. I used up my 3 a long time ago but then the godfather had an offer going for awhile where you could get another slot for 4 favor points, so I bought 2.

Why he got rid of that feature in the first place is beyond me. Why he is not bringing it back after our repeated demands is beyond me.

yeah it was a while back, I never bought an extra slot because I didn't know he would just get rid of that option or add the lvl 40 in a day achievement

I still have like 5 unused slots on my mobbie with 500 guns, I don't know what I'm gonna do with them though.

He would now have to change the way a few things function OR offer it at around 60 fp. Unfortunately, otherwise it can be abused for cheap hired guns.

yeah i never thought of that, maybe he could add a feature that you can only do that mission on the 3 slots the game provides for you

I was thinking maybe he could add the delete mobster feature, for like 5-10 fp, and do the missions based on each slot. That way if you deleted a mobster on one slot, you can't do the missions that you completed from the mobster on that slot, on that slot anymore. It'd be effective and a lot easier on his end for the programming.

i didnt want to try it myself cuz i already use 3 and if by chance he did i didnt want to waste the slot when i wasn't ready to use it yet. i was aware of the one time you could buy one but i just heard that he just made it to where we could now have 5. but was uncertain without having to waste one when i wasnt ready.:rolleyes:

No it was 4. And he can't have "delete a mobster" either, or people would abuse that too.
Create New Mobster, Pass Mini Game (CEO), Collect Protection Money platinum, delete save slot and keep the HGs :> Then redo.

Not if it had to get rid of the HG from that accnt when you delete it. You people always think negative

I program for a living. Noting how this game is programmed (not bad at all) removing the save slots also removing the hired guns would be very risky. Program Fault 1: If a lot of time wasn't put into it, you could delete a save slot that you PURCHASED maybe a couple hundred hired guns and since the HGs were linked to that save slot, it would remove those. I'm not saying it wouldn't work, but using psychology on how the rest of the updates were programmed in and patched up, it would be a disaster at first and during that week it wasn't fully debugged, it would be a week of super abuse. NOTHING released the first time is going to be flawless, and I think personally the GF and all other developers don't want to flight into the risk of having more people flaming them for making programming errors, such as the infamous midnight double swiss bug (which is actually 46 minutes paid, not 45 :( ).

Well the userid is already broken into the slot information. So, you can keep the information that the mission has been completed by x slot in the database for the userid that won't be affected by the delete. He could just define it, once it's set as complete, so it won't be changed. The information is stored via userid, so the deletion of the saved slot would clear all the data of the slot's information, with the exclusion of the defined data of these missions. I don't think it would require much work on his end at all.
