Can not Attack people on the hitlist [Archive]

For some strange reason I cant seem to attack anyone on the hitlist and claim their bounty. Everytime I attack them it just gives me the box with the x, and nothing under it. Theres no stats of me attack, it doesnt take my stamina or hp and i overall cant claim the bounty.

Its strange because i can attack people regularly not on the hitlist and it works. How do i fix this?

I use most recent firefox 3.0 and run windows vista. This problem seems to happen even when i tested the bug on IE though. Is my account just messed up?

this happens to me every once and awhile. I think it means that someone killed right before you because they are no longer on the hit list when i x out and look.

Thats what it looks like.
Lil P, Im POSITIVE that i am not having the problem your saying. Because i continue to refresh and try to attack again from 2 seconds of being on the hitlist, all the way to 18 before they disappear. I can see their name still there every time i refresh, and i still cant attack them.

I'm pretty sure that happens when you attack someone too much. They patched this problem with "Forgive and Forget! You cannot attack.." something like that. If you're still having this problem, can't help you there lol.

someone got to them before you probably. when ever I'm looking, I collect the bounties real fast. 90% of them when I'm looking I get.

Now if you this happens and you still see them on the hitlist then somethings messed up.

As i said, I still see them on the hitlist after i refresh for the box to go away.

Im POSITIVE im fast enough. I often find people posted at 0 seconds ago and keep trying to attack until 18 second swhere they disappear from the list.

Lmfao. Everytime I check the hitlist I never find someone. o_o I have 0 bounties lol.

Do you get this when you're fighting regularly?

Nope, when I fight regularly things work fine. And I have 24 bounties already, but it suddenly stopped working! Right as im about to hit the 25 mark >_<

IT only stopped working yesterday night, tried everything, different browsers etc etc. I cant seem to attack anyone.

Ive missed like 10 bounties due to this glitch already. Makes me really sad :(

OKAY!

I was just able toa ttack someone again. Im not sure how, and im not sure why but it seems to have gotten resolved.

This glitch affected me again. Im beginning to think this is intended.

Seriously gay :( Is there some kind of limit on bounties you can get in a day or something? Seems to be the only explanation why im being blocked out from claiming more bounties ><

I have the same problem right now. From the way it looks you're limited to how many bounties you can collect :/. Yesterday I racked up 30 bounties and I was excited to get back to it today when I got hit with the empty box.

im having the same thing since about 1:30 hours ago ,,, i cant attack anyone on the HitList and its not because im not fast enough

listen ive been doing it since i joined Mobsters 2 and never had problem and i got many kill by the Hitlist .. never had a problem ,,,, but now it doesnt work anymore at all .

not even 1 hit on the guy when before i would most of the time need 1-5 hit to get the bounty and not nada...

one more day and im gone to spend some time on another apps !

the hitlist has people in it but im missing the tab that says hitlist under the attack area. It even doesnt display box when i attempt to hit them fromthe hitlist.

just started having the same problem, i have 79 bounties and cant get to 80 now :( and yes its a problem, i know how the game works this is a glitch maybe?? I have the same problem on IE8 IE7 Firefox the latest. windows vista, so on and so forth.

well this is BS,, I built my guy to bounty hunt specifically!!! and now I cant bounty hunt, what am i supposed to do now??? its been 2 days! they should put a increase your bounty max at the godfather or something :/
lame, im going back to mobsters 1 where i didn't start a bounty hunter :/
a game version built around hunting more so then any other and you cant even bounty hunt. Ill never make the made man list now. rant rant rant some more...

I also can't attack from the hitlist and am experiencing the same issue. I've tried Firefox and Safari. I'm at 24 hits. Whenever I click to attack and they are in a different area, it tells me I have to go there. When I attack, I get a thin, wide black box on my screen with no text in it. The box has a X though so I can click it off. This has been happening for about 45 mins with me. I've tried different computers and browsers, all the same.

And before someone says it, this is not the same thing that is experienced when someone gets a bounty before you. My issue is exactly like the screenshot posted above.

i also had the same problem. yesterday i had 5 bounty kills and today i have 29 and suddenly the same thing happened to me only the close button appears. is the 24 bounty kill limit true?

I'm having the same glitch, I collected 24 bounties yesterday (9/2), and was unable to move beyond that. I'm using Firefox 3.5.2, and my flash player is up to date. Any word on a fix for this, or is this a rant page and not a tech support page?

Seems there has been a lot of talk about this for over a month (I too am experiencing the problem) AND yet there is not answer from the game designers ... I hoped technical support would be more responsive. Most people simply want to understand the hit litst better before we go to extensive efforts trying to fix the issue on our browsers.

Any guidance here from technical support would be appreciated.
