View Full Version : Money and experience

It doesn't scale. It costs me roughly $1500 to heal when I'm barely getting $50 from a person who has 2 $ symbols. Rarely do I find someone with 3. Never found anyone with more.

Job pay outs are also way too low. Until level 30 are there 3 jobs (that I can see for my current level) that net over $1,000 but the energy cost to do these jobs is insane.

Experience is just retard high. Unless this is meant to be a game strictly for energy hogs, it's time to change experience or change the skill points from 3 to ?. 57 xp for a job that yields $305 - $1300 dollars when I need around 6,000 xp? Just nuts. Or how about 79 xp for a job that yields ZERO dollars.

I know I'm not the only one with this complaint. Unless you're concentrating on having people spend all their mob points on money and energy refills, this is just stupid.

Things need to start scaling better with levels.

I take that back. Keep experience how it is. Just make money scale better. Please! :]

Money scale is perfect. The developers obviously didn't want this game to be like Mobsters Original in that you could become an overnight million/billionaire via territories. So do what everyone else has done and make important decisions in what territories you want to invest in, considering you can only have a maximum of 12, (currently.)

The sooner you come to grips with this more realistic approach to the Mob Scene, the better.

Never said a single thing about territories. Learn to read.

Only thing I mentioned was job pay out. I think the territories thing is a really cool concept.

And I'm sure you're a pro on how a real mob is ran, right?

I never said you didn't include territories, [learn to read.] I'm merely stating the fact that the realism behind the territory concept counter-acts the low cash payout in jobs, thus nullifying whatever argument or "suggestion" you're implying. The whole basis of most of these online APPS are for you to let your money build up, (through whatever means: territories, exhausting stamina/energy, etc.) If the jobs aren't giving out as much money as you'd like, save up whatever money you do have and invest in more expensive properties to boost your income. That should solve your whole problem of underpaying jobs.

And I'm sure you're a pro on how a real mob is ran, right?

You could say that.

This game is very balanced compared to mobsters 1. I actually level my attacker faster than I level my energy hog, believe it or not. And money hasn't been a problem on either of them for me.

i think the territory is fine, and so is the energy. it takes quite awhile to level unless u invest your points in energy. being a mobster 1 fan i have noticed that the same tactics in the original do not apply as a whole in this version. hogging your points for attack and defense do not work well. and with that said the only complaint i really have is the hitlist. but thats another forum.

For my mobster build, I invest two points into defense and one point into health whenever I level. However, for the first few levels, I invest my points into energy until I have 200, then start putting them into defense and health respectively. That way, in the future, I can use my territory upgrades to give me bonuses to energy without sacrificing skill points.

When I get a skill point from a mission, I typically wait until I have three and spend them on health and defense. =D

IMO, if you're going to play Mobsters 1/Mobsters:V, either invest in all ATTK or all DEF. Being a "Jack of all Trades" in mobsters isn't advised.

Is balanced.
Use common sence and you will find ways to make money. Quit complaining,
also realize its still in beta, everyone is watching their money...blah blah blah, territories is a over time investment for $$$. Thats how people should be making money not counting on quests and attacking people for it....blah blah blah, blah.
