I was shocked when I did a Google search on one of my mobster screen names and found a listing of my e-mail address and e-mail password on a website called under a thread called Myspace Toss back in January of this year. This is the page it's on...... and here is a site dedicated to phishing specifically for Myspace

***********URL [edited to protect the privacy of others private emails and password.]*******************

I am really concerned about this and would like to know what can be done about this. I say this because they say they are getting this from Myspace and people who play Mobsters have over 1,000 friends which allows them to sell your information and Myspace friends info on E-BAY. My concern for Mobsters in the "Mob Nation" is that this application, Mobsters, promotes the need to recruit more mobsters and friends to gain ambulances, badges, property and missions.

If they may be able to get our information from sites that have Mob Trains or Friends Adds fast for apps like Mobsters, then I feel Playdom, as well as Myspace have an obligation to curb this type of theft from happening.

I don't know if you all were aware of this, but I DO NOT use a universal password for anything so most of my stuff is ok.

well, first...Im not clicking either of those links.

Second, People give out there Email address that play mobsters so that others can add them and it gets past the 400 adds a day limit.

Third, You probably had a "Keylogger" (aka Virus that steals your info when you type it in) and someone got into your account. I have also been a member of Ebay for a very long time and i personally know that any attempt to sell personal info on there is stopped instinatly.

Forth, As to my knowledge, Myspace and/or Playdom has no control and no responsibility for anything that happens to you info that is not in their database. Meaning, Playdom has nothing to do with your myspace info and someone would have to hack into myspace to get that info and i have not seen myspace down at all.

So, im thinking that the Third one is what happened to you. Sorry man but it happens to people.

For the safety of the users on that list, please edit it to remove the links. That way the access is limited. By posting the links you are adding to the danger.
