Mobsters: Big Apple Achievement Guide

I will update this guide when Platinum is released.


This is a breif guide that will explain the following:

What level is required for each level of the achievements
What is required for each achievements
What the reward is for each achievement

Levels 1-20:
This will get you up to the bronze achievement.
Requires 1 Energy and you will gain a total of 1 Experience.

+10 favor points for the iphone bonus
+1 favor point for the bronze iphone achievement (after completing one iPhone mission)
24/7 badge next to your name on your Mobsters profile

Levels 20-42:
This will get you up to the silver achievement.
Requires 180 Energy and you will gain a total of 270 Experience.

+10 favor points for the iphone bonus
+1 favor point for the bronze iphone achievement
+2 favor points for the silver iphone achievement
1 Promise of Police Protection henchman

Levels 42-1000:
This is will get you up to the gold achievement.
Requires 464 Energy and you will gain a total of 720 Experience.

+10 favor points for the iphone bonus
+1 favor point for the bronze iphone achievement
+2 favor points for the silver iphone achievement
1 Promise of Police Protection henchman
+3 favor points for the gold iphone achievement
1 Network of Informants henchman

AS OF RIGHT NOW THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THE PLATINUM ACHIEVEMENT. WE WILL SIMPLY HAVE TO WAIT.

What do the achievements look like?
Bronze---Silver----Gold---Platinum

What do I have to do to get the achievements?
There are several missions you have to do to get the aceivements.

The first mission is the Steal an iPhone mission.

By doing this mission, you will get the following:

The information provided (in this image it has been blacked out) is how what you enter into the application on your iPhone to link the accounts. Upon completetion of this, your Mobsters profile will display http://cdn0.mobwarsapp.com/mob/images/badge.png next to the name and you will now have http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/2678/iphoneb.gif in your achievements section (bronze achievement is after doing one mission). Please note you must link your MySpace Mobsters account to the Big Apple app to get the achievements.

Now the next missions to do are the A Starnge Text Message and A meeting with Mr. X missions. You have to do A Strange Text Message 10 times to get 10 of http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/5570/messagefrommrx.gif. Once you get the right amount you can do the Meeting with Mr. X mission.

Upon completetion of these missions, you will obtain the Promise of Police Protection henchman (see image above) and http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/4439/iphones.gif in your achievements section to replace the bronze.

The last set of missions to do are A Job for Mr. X and Raid on Mr. X's Hideout. You will have to do A Job for Mr. X 10 times and obtain 10 of http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/7566/clueaboutthelocationofm.gif. Once you get 10 clues you can do the Raid on Mr. X's Hideout mission.

Upon completetion of these missions, you will obtain the Network of Informants henchan (see image above) and http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/981/iphoneg.gif in your achievements section to replace the silver.

I got REALLY bored and redwinger asked what level for the gold achievement so I was like, meh why not.

What do you mean? The bronze should come from linking your MySpace account to the Big Apple app.

I never got the link to download the app, and they told me in forums that the app you download from app store was different than the one on myspace. I noticed on your post after you do the mission there was a link to download, I never got that link.

Once linked, some missions show on MySpace but the important ones stay strictly on the iPhone/iTouch app.

nope. the missions go away after you do them.

What do you mean? The bronze should come from linking your MySpace account to the Big Apple app.You don't get the bronze token for linking your account to your iPhone/iPod, you get the 24/7 badge. To get the token you have to do one mission from your iPod/iPhone.
