Note: There is also a new 3-D style territory layout in limited beta release to some members. At this point it is undetermined if this affects the slot layout open levels or exactly how this will change territory building. Provide any information you find.
BEGINNERS INFORMATION: Understanding the Territory Information Details
Basic Territory Categories
Open Level: This shows the level the territory first becomes available.
Price: This shows the base price for each territory. Note that the price doubles for every territory of the same type you purchase.
A good strategy is to purchase the highest level territory before purchasing the next of the same territory.
As an example: If you want 3 Ristorantes, purchase the Dive Bar, Pizza Parlor, and Ristorante before purchasing the 2nd and 3rd Risorante so you only pay double price on the Ristorantes
Commercial Tree: The Storefront properties do not give enhancements, but they produce the highest income.
Income per/min: This shows the territory income and time interval the territory pays out.
Note: The income listed on the territory page will not change even if your Character Class has an increase in the income from territories.
Income per/hr: This converts the per/min income to an hourly rate to help show which territories payout the best.
Math on Income per Hour
The price listed in your territories may not match the number in the table.
This can be affected by 2 factors Avatar Items/Unique Loot that increases the payout speed for territories.
For example:
Crooked Accountant = 5% increase in territory cash payout speed.
Fence Operations = $3600 per 180min.
180min * .95 = 171min (Payout speed increase from Accountant)
So the Fence Operations is now $3600 per 171min
$3600 / 171min = 21.05/min * 60 = $1263/hr
Max Income: This shows the maximum income the territory can hold before it stops collecting money.
Max Ownable: This shows the maximum number of each territory you can own before receiving a 'Limit Reached' message.
Enhancement Categories:
The following categories are territory enhancements that are only applicable while you own the territory.
The enhancements are stackable, so if you own multiple territories, the bonus will stack for each category.
Note: The timer reduction is rounded upward by the game. So if your stacked energy timer nets a reduction of 4.8, you will see a drop of 5 seconds on your timer.
Residential Tree: The Slum properties give an enhancement to energy and energy regeneration.
Energy Max: This shows the amount the territory will increase the energy stat.
Energy Regen: This shows the amount the territory will reduce the energy regeneration timer.
Math on Energy Regneration Timer:
The base energy timer starts at 60 seconds per 2 energy points.
Therefore 1% bonus to energy regeneration will reduce the timer by 0.6 seconds. (60 x 1% = 0.6)
The timer reduction stacks, so if you have a total of 10% it will reduce by 6 seconds (0.6 x 10 = 6)
Food & Bevarage Tree: The Dive Bar properties give an enhancement to health and health regeneration.
Health Max: This shows the amount the territory will increase the health stat.
Health Regen: This shows the amount the territory will reduce the health regeneration timer.
Math on Health Regneration Timer:
The base health timer starts at 180 seconds per health point.
Therefore 1% bonus to health regeneration will reduce the timer by 1.8 seconds. (180 x 1% = 1.8)
The timer reduction stacks, so if you have a total of 10% it will reduce by 18 seconds (1.8 x 10 = 18)
Entertainment Tree: The Sportsbook properties give an enhancement to stamina and stamina regeneration.
Stamina Max: This shows the amount the territory will increase the stamina stat.
Stamina Regen: This shows the amount the territory will reduce the stamina regeneration timer.
Math on Stamina Regneration Timer:
The base stamina timer starts at 120 seconds per stamina point.
Therefore 1% bonus to stamina regeneration will reduce the timer by 1.2 seconds. (120 x 1% = 1.2)
The timer reduction stacks, so if you have a total of 10% it will reduce by 12 seconds (1.2 x 10 = 12)
Industrial Tree: The Warehouse properties give an enhancement to either defense, attack or chance of dealing critical hits.
Attack: This shows the amount the territory will increase the attack stat.
Defense: This shows the amount the territory will increase the defense stat.
Crit Hits (Fight): This shows the increased chance of scoring a critical hit in fights

Note on Terminolgy:
B=Bronze, S=Silver, G=Gold, P=Platinum
The number in (parantheses) indicates the level the Territory Achievement can be completed.
When you complete a particular achievement you typically get 1 FP. There have been instances shown that people are also getting Stat points instead.
It appears the developer is still working through their preferred reward for achievements.

Note:
The Platinum for Commercial is an exception as the territories for platinum are available before the territory for gold.
I have tested and you DO NOT get the FP for Gold if you do the Platinum achievement first.
If you decide to get the Platinum achievement before the Gold, I have confirmed that you can still get the FP for Gold achievement once the Crematorium is available, and the medal on your Mobsters page will remain platinum.
STRATEGY: Using Territories for the Stat Achievements
There are 3 stat achievements (energy, health, and stamina) which you can use territories to help gain the achievements.
Stamina: How to get the stamina achievement at level 75
B 10
S 20
G 30
P 50
Strategy:
Minimum level required: 75
Territories to purchase:
(1) - Racetrack (+6 stamina each, +6 total stamina, $82,200 total cost)
(3) - Stable (+4 stamina each, +12 total stamina, $160,500 total cost)
(3) - Casino (+3 stamina each, +9 total stamina, $407,500 total cost)
(4) - Gambling Parlor (+1stamina each, +4 total stamina,$220,500 )
Total stamina increase: 31
Total territory Cost: $870,700
Minimum stat points required: 19
19 base stamina stat points plus the 31 stamina increase from the above territories will give you the platinum achievement.
Also highly recommend opening the Hitman class which gives a bonus of +10 to stamina. You can use this to either decrease the base stat points needed to place on stamina, or reduce the number of territories you need to purchase.
Energy: How to get the energy achievement at level 63
B 200
S 500
G 1000
P 2000
Strategy:
Minimum level required: 63
Territories to purchase:
(3) - Gated Mansion (+50 energy each, +150 total, $118,600 total cost)
(2) - High-Rise Residence (+40 energy each, +80 total, $159,200 total cost)
(4) - Sub-Division (+25 energy each, +100 total, $116,000 total cost)
(3) - Apartment Complex (+20 energy each, +60 total, $146,000 total cost)
Total Energy Increase: 390 points
Total Territory Cost: $539,800
Minimum energy required: 1610
Note that a single stat point will give you +10 to energy. I believe you start with 100 energy points, so 1510/10 = 151 base stat points plus the above territories will give you the platinum achievement.
Also note that if you get the Secret Sauce Recipe this will give you a permanent +30 to energy which will reduce the base stats required. Please see the mini-games thread for details on obtaining the recipe.
Health: How to get the health achievement at level 58
B 200
S 500
G 1000
P 2000
Strategy:
Minimum level required: 58
Territories to purchase:
(3) - Ristorante (+100 health each, +300 total, $181,350 total cost)
(3) - Escort Agency (+60 health each, +180 total, $350,100 total cost)
(4) - Pizza Parlor (+50 health each, +200 total, $180,000 total cost)
(2) - Fancy Nightclub (+40 health each, +80 total, $237,000 total cost)
Total Health Increase: 760 points
Total Territory Cost: $948,450
Minimum Health Required: 1240
Note that a single stat point will give you +10 to health, so if you put 124 base stat points into health plus the above territories will give you the platinum achievement. Not sure what the starting value of health was.

TERRITORY GUIDE: Territory Impacting Classes, Avatar Items and Equipment
The following details the various character classes, items and equipment that can impact how your territories work.
Character Classes:
The following character classes give discounts on territory purchases.
Money Man (5%)
Landlord (15%)
- Class Mission:Take Over a Rival Casino (opens L57) - Obtain Real Estate Negotiator
Avatar Items:
The following avatar items will benefit your interaction with territories.
'$' Tattoo - 5% increase in territory cash payout speed.
Russian Hat - 5% discount on territories. (Earned by Mastering Moscow)
Equipment:
The following special equipment will impact territories.
Henchman: Real Estate Negotiator - 5% discount on all territories
Henchman: Crooked Accountant - 5% increase in territory cash payout speed.
Note on determining the base territory price if you have discounts (for those that want to help fill in the blanks)
Add up the total discounts you have active (i.e. Landlord = 15% and Negotiator = 5% for a total of 20% discount)
The formula is (Listed Price / (1 - Discount percent)
For example:
Listed Price = 8,000
Total Discounts = 20% = 0.2
(8,000 / (1 - 0.2) = 8,000 / 0.8 = 10,000 base price.

TERRITORY GUIDE: Strategy
Best Territory by Category:
At this point the details are not available on all the properties to determine which are the best overall. The ones listed are based on the known information.
Best Income: Fence Operations, Resort Casino, Tomato Sauce Importer
(Note: Brothel is actually the highest income $2667/hr, but it maxes out at $12,000 or roughly 4.5 hours of collection. So this territory isn't the best unless you are actively collecting every 4-5 hours.)
Best Energy: Gated Mansion, High-Rise Residence, Sub-Division
Best Energy Regeneration: Luxury Condo, High-Rise Residence, Block of Townhouses
Best Health: Ristorante, Escort Agency, Pizza Parlor
Best Health Regeneration: Italian Bakery, Fancy Nightclub, Escort Agency
Best Stamina: Racetrack, Resort Casino, Stable
Best Stamina Regeneration: Sports Arena, Resort Casino, Boxing Hall
Best Attack: Meat-Packing Plant, Waste Management Company, Incinerator
Best Defense: Chop Shop
Best Critical Hit: Construction Company, Waste Management Company, Cement Factory
Territory Builds:
The best strategy is user specific, and will be a combination of the enhancements you want for your Mobster combined with the highest available income properties.
I wanted to setup something we can use to display territory builds that help enhance our characters. I'm sure everyone has good ideas for low and high level characters, so post up your ideas.
Build Type: Attacker
Level Req: 55
Territories:
(3) Fancy Nightblub: +40 health, +3% health regen
(3) Casino: +3 stamina, +3% stamina regen
(3) Incinerator: +3% critical hits, +2% attack
(3) Fence Operations: $1,250 per hour
Total Bonuses
Income: $7,188hr
Health: +120 health, +9% health regen
Energy: none
Stamina: +9 stamina, +9% stamina regen
Fight: +9% critical hits, +6% attack
Explanation: The attack build uses a mix to increase health and stamina statistics, while increasing the attack rating and chance for critical hits. It then uses 3 fence ops to jump the hourly income.
Build Type: Best Income Build (Level 46)
Level Req: 99
Territories:
(3) Fence Operations: $1,250 per hour
(3) Tomato Sauce Importer: $975 per hour
(1) Resort Casino: $960 per hour
(3) Olive Oil Importer: $866 per hour
(2) Wine Importer: $771 per hour
Total Bonuses
Income: $11,775hr
Health: none
Energy: none
Stamina: none
Fight: none
Explanation: The best income build uses the maximum number available for all of the best income territories. This build does not give bonuses to any stat categories.
Note their is a character build guide (http://forum.mobstersapp.com/showthread.php?t=150912) (by Shampound) that could be used in conjuction with the Territory Build to help develop your character.

allow me to explain...when you create a guide, that is factual and as detailed as this guide is, there is no need to ask questions...there is no need to have "discussion" as you put it...the only thing that is necessary is to make sure to give +rep where it is due, and since that is done, my work here is finished...great guides don't need discussion, that's what makes them great guides

As far as I know, there's no Enhancements. =P Not too sure where's it upgradeable from, or it's max $. I'll let it sit and fine out, (I collected the cash before screenshotting so you can see how long it takes to payout.)

1. I know many people like to know the pricing. If someone wants to volunteer, I'd like to use a new method to show this.
Basically want to put the available locations (i.e. B, D, J, M, etc) and put them in order cheapest first on the gdoc full tree view. Since the price changes based on how many you own, listing the price isn't always accurate. This way everyone will know which location to go to purchase the territory.[/SIZE]
I have made one, as you know and you can butcher it at will, if you like ;-)
Here it is directly from me:
http://62.255.193.163/
I'm still working on it.

That's a tremendous and accurate guide, well done!
Only one point looked suspect to me: I've built 4 Old Warehouses to unlock the Trafficker class.
At least Old Warehouses are not limited to only 3 slot triplets, you can get quads of them.
Getting the purchase price back on quads or higher takes a long, but finite, time.
I do think more information regarding prices should be collected, though.
Here is the complete information on prices up to Level 40.
I do not expect anyone to actually use this list, except to check the results.
All that is needed, once this information is known (and it already is);
all that is needed now is a record of the best price and its location (which I provided in another thread).
Prices are absolutely fixed and stable (as recorded in the list below).
There are only three known and precisely predictable variations to territory prices (as accurately described in the guide above):
* with City--shown below;
* with Copycat territories--2nd of twin territories costs twice the first, and third of triplets costs twice more again--that is, the third costs 4 times as much (as the base price in the given city); and,
* with Class--Moneyman gives 5%, and Landlord 15% discount.
The last two of these are very easily stated, what players can't work out without help from a guide is the tedious work of checking each city for each territory.
For overall strategy, though, actual costs and benefits cannot be calculated without this information. To decide which of two alternatives is better, one needs sufficient details of their different costs.
The only thing that is difficult is "reverse engineering" the in-game prices while constructing the territory guide. I used simple spreadsheet formulas which divided the in-game price by 2 when I was buying a 2nd territory, 4 when buying a 3rd, and divided that price by 85% when using a Landlord and 95% when using a Moneyman.
Prices in the data below are listed in the order the cities are unlocked:
Bronx, Downtown, Miami, Jersey, Vegas. Where a territory is "not available at this location", I have noted it as "na".
In my other thread, or somewhere, I plan to explain some simple maths that helps with making best use of territory slots. I imagine players will feel more comfortable if they know what they are aiming for, and why they're not missing out on anything by going for it.
Anyway, here's the data up to Level 40. Though the simple "best price" list is, I think, all most players would really want to know.

Great guide!!! Is there any way to include mission requirements? Such as having 3 storefronts in downtown. I had already used/upgraded all my slots and had to sell to meet the mission requirements. Would be nice to include this.

I do have a question that I have asked a lot and not quite sure if it was resolved. First, great guide, and thx for doing that.
If you doing mostly an energy build, you obviously want ONE gated mansion and luxury condo for the 4% experience regen, but do the condos / high rises STACK? Has anyone tested this.
Example one - does one high rise and one condo stack and give you faster energy regen?
Example two - does two condos and two high rises stack - give you faster energy regen?
Example three - do you only need one gated mansion for max energy, and one condo to be completed max energy char?

They all stack.
Little Steven
09-19-2009, 12:13 PM
I just tried this out, and cannot get faster regen than like 52 seconds. This is with 2 condos and two high rises. If you just use one high rise and 1 condo, i get the exact same thing.
So when you say they all stack, do you mean ONE (1) item of each, or are you telling me that two condos would give you 8% energy regen? :)
Shampound
09-19-2009, 12:31 PM
Do you have the Slurpee machine, also?
With two High-Rises and two Condo's with the Slurpee machine, the timer should show around 50 second regen periods. Without a Slurpee Machine, 52.8 seconds.
With a single High-Rise and Condo, with the Slurpee machine, it should be around 53 seconds.
Little Steven
09-19-2009, 12:33 PM
yes i have the slurpee machine...
hrmm, ok i will try that again, it seems to hover between 54 secs and 51 secs sometimes... Its not always the same, but I will try it again..

Hey thanks Bozana :)
You have a Real Estate "Negotiator" don't you.
What discount does that give you?
What class were you using when you viewed the upgrades?
That way, we can work out the base price for the territory in China Town.

I have three Row of Brownstones and a slurpee machine.
Do all three stack to make 8%?
I'm going 3 of each of these I believe..
"Best Income: Fence Operations
Best Energy: Gated Mansion
Best Energy Regeneration: Luxury Condo"
What about the other 3?

ok, I've been away over the weekend so I'll work through everyones comments today and make the updates.
one note, I did the experiment on the Commercial Tycoon achievement. This is the one where the platinum territories (Olive Oil Importer and Fence Operations) are available before the gold territory (Crematorium).
So I went straight to platinum and DID NOT receive the 2nd GF point for the gold accomplishment. So I'm not sure if this is gone forever, or if I can go back and buy 3 crematoriums and get the GF point.

As far as I know, there's no Enhancements. =P Not too sure where's it upgradeable from, or it's max $. I'll let it sit and fine out, (I collected the cash before screenshotting so you can see how long it takes to payout.)
Thanks Shampound. I updated the gdoc. still pending max, and locations. Doubting there is any enhancement since its in the storefront tier.
FYI: The pre-purchase screenshot is the most useful...but maybe you already owned it. Thanks.

Thanks for this, Ogie. I hope you'll be able to get the Favor Points (FP) with the 3 Crematoria. Perhaps, depending on how things are programmed, it will give you the FP, and perhaps display a gold rather than platinum achievement medal after you do that.
Shampound

From what I heard, FP's from Achievements are no longer being given. So I think it'd be in everyone's best interest to just skip to Platinum anyways. =O

My understanding is that FP are not being given as part of mission rewards anymore. You only get stat points.

so, someone sent me a message with another maximum ownable for the Wine Importer = 2.
I decided to add another value to the max field on the gdoc in parantheses. This number indicates the maximum you are allowed to own for a particular territory. When you reach the maximum you get a message saying limit reached.
Anybody finds maxes, let me know. I'm curious to see if this is level dependant or not also.

All that is needed, once this information is known (and it already is);
all that is needed now is a record of the best price and its location (which I provided in another thread).
Prices are absolutely fixed and stable (as recorded in the list below).
There are only three known and precisely predictable variations to territory prices (as accurately described in the guide above):
* with City--shown below;
* with Copycat territories--2nd of twin territories costs twice the first, and third of triplets costs twice more again--that is, the third costs 4 times as much (as the base price in the given city); and,
* with Class--Moneyman gives 5%, and Landlord 15% discount.

1. I've compiled all your information together and posted a table format on the gdoc version. There are a lot of blanks, so as you get information let me know and I'll make the updates.
2. I've modified the detailed tree view so that the Upgrade Available: locations are listed in order from cheapest to most expensive.
I've added the known criteria that can impact the territory pricing, so hopefully this will suffice for your requests to get pricing detailed. Thanks for all the work to collect this info.

Bozana, I know the pic gathering is a lot of work, but I just don't have time to go digging through all of that. Much more helpful to have simple statements on what you think needs to be updated.
1. Instead of all the pics of 1st, 2nd, 3rd purchases.....are you seeing a standard ratio on upgrades. For example does the price double every time you buy a new one?
2. Definitely appreciate the info on Chinatown, but I really just need a list of which ones are available in Chinatown, and if possible, the price.

Hi Aussie lol!
We got married on Hamilton Island on the 28/2/08 and honeymooned up in Cape Tribulation. Saw some friends in Cairns and stayed with them. I married an Englishman lol! We live in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Staying here to sort our home.. enough to repair it to rent the house out and buy a home in Brisbane or north of Brisbane. Hubby wants to retire in Cairns and to be closer to my parents in Gordonvale. He loves Far North and Mackay. Stayed north of Mackay with my cousin. She owns 5 acres of land and nice house. Always cheaper to buy outside of a town then inside.. Opposite to UK lmao! I suggest to you to go to Mackay, as there is a lot of jobs going there.. and not enough people to do the jobs and the life style and lots of islands ;)

I guess so. Fun thing about these games that they change.
To be honest, though, I think 3 Skill Points are worth a lot more than 1 or 2 Favor Points.
For me, Favor Points go to Hired Guns.
Mob size 208 => mob size 209 gives little advantage, and costs 20 FP.
3 Skill Points in Attack or Defense gives 3 x 208 = 624 increase in fight stats.
Skill Points have to be a better pay out than 10% of a typical LE item.
Wouldn't you agree?
I'm in favour of the change.

OK, some updates today.
1. Added the class territory requirements to the 1st post and gdoc.
2. Confirmed the stats for High-Rise Residence.
3. Added the pricing information for High-Rise Residence
3. Added the Coney Island column to the pricing table on the gdoc.
confirmed that the base territories are not available there.
Still working on these other pricing updates.

Open Issues:
1. Pricing: Please look at the pricing table in the gdoc. If you know the value of a cell please let me know.
Please be aware to comment if you have the Real Estate Negotiator as it will impact the price. To correct the price take the listed price and divide by .95
2. Need stats for the following territories still:
Weapon Shop
Construction Company
Waste Management Company
Meat-Packing Plant
Sports Arena
Racetrack
Resort Casino
3. Need to add availability for each territory for Chinatown (CT) and Coney Island (CI). So far it appears no territories are available in CI.
4. Need to know the maximum amount of territories ownable for each property.
5. Need to confirm if there is a consistent ratio for the price increase when purchasing multiple of the same property.
I've done the Meat-Packing Plant on page 6 of this thread, Oggie ;) Have a look! And yes, it does have the Real Estate Agent after a certain level and it was way before the Meat Packing Plant becomes available, when my hubby bought it when it opened up to him and I took screen shots. Hope it helps out.

It's there in two ways. The spreadsheet tree view says where territories are available. The pricing matrix shows the same information, including where the best prices are.
BUT, you are right, the pricing matrix is incomplete. Please help if you can!

Great guide. Thanks, I find it very helpful. As previously noted, regarding the lack of on-going discussion --my guess is that your guide is so good it answers everyone's questions.
Here's a question; If you buy properties as the Landlord class with a 15% discount; is it possible to then sell them at a profit as another class?
BigAussieAL

If you buy properties as the Landlord class with a 15% discount;
is it possible to then sell them at a profit as another class?
No.
In Mobsters 2: Vendetta, resale prices of most items, including territories, are 50% of a "base price".
Items, as well as territories, can be purchased in some cities at a discount on this price (though other cities sometimes charge a premium).
Territory example: a Strip Club sells for $12,000, which is half the base price of $24,000 (in Miami).
However, Strip Clubs are sold at a discount of $1,500 in the Bronx ($22,500), and $2,000 in Las Vegas ($22,000);
but they are sold at a premium of $1,125 in Jersey ($25,125), and $4,320 in Chinatown ($28,320).
Again, with items as well as territories, even when class discounts have been applied on top of city discounts,
this never brings the price down to less than 50% of the base price, so no profit is possible.
Mind you, with items, rather than territories, the 25% discount on guns available to Merchants of Death, when used in Miami--where guns are usually sold at a discount as well--does mean you are almost using guns "rent free". That is, there is little overhead in upgrading. The money you put into guns is pretty much like putting money in the bank: you can get about 90% of it back any time you like. Obviously, it's much better than money in the bank, 'cause you're using the money--it's "working" for you in every fight. The only reason not to buy stuff, when a Merchant of Death, is because you've spent everything already! Just make sure you're getting the most stat points out of that spending. ;)
If you are after profit, though, your criminal mind works exactly like mine! ;) And, you're in the right place! Territories are profitable: so long as you log in to collect the income, they return an average of more than 100% per 48 hours (from memory, I got it all on a spreadsheet). Unfortunately, we only get 12 of 'em. :(

How to PRINT SCREEN on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 Computer
Why doesn't that Print Screen key do anything?
To make Print Screen work, you must save an image of what's displayed on-screen to the clipboard and then paste it into a document where it can be saved or printed.
To do this, follow this procedure:
1. Maximize the window you'd like to capture.
2. To copy/capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn.
3. Open a MS Photo Editor, or Adobe PhotoShop or Click on Start then click on Programs, then click on Accessories, then click on Paint.
4. Paste the screen shot by holding down CTRL and V at the same time.
5. Click on File, then click on Save As and name the picture and select .jpg in the drop down box and then click on Save or Ok.

Question regarding Factory branch: does the critical hit bonus count for spirited defenses as well, or does it only give critical hits while attacking?

Question regarding Factory branch: does the critical hit bonus count for spirited defenses as well, or does it only give critical hits while attacking?
Great question, but really a combat question.
As I understand it (but someone might correct me)
Critical Hits and Spirited Defense are sort of the same thing, 'cept that one is for attack and the other for defense.
Again, as I understand it, CH ups your attack score for individual fights (at random),
and so you do more, and take less, damage in that fight.
Same same for SD, it ups your defense score for individual fights (at random),
and so you take less, and do more, damage in that fight.
I believe Spirited Defense also restores you to Max Health.
My guess is that CH may temporarily up your attack by 20% and SD ups your defense by 10%.
The exact percentages probably don't matter much,
but I think I've noticed that when I get CHs and the defender gets SDs,
I still win if I normally win, and maybe by a squeak of a larger margin.
So back to the original question. Simple answer: No.
CH and SD are totally different, one for attack, one for defense.
Yet they're kind of the same, 'cause they kind of do the same thing,
just depending on which side of the fight you're on.

I don't know about the max health thing with spirited defense (if it's true, I've never observed it while I was playing), and I'm inclined to believe that the CH and SD bonuses are identical, but that's neither here nor there.
My question is essentially this: regarding the number of Warehouse-branch territories that are said to increase critical hit percentage, does critical hit only refer to "Critical Hit" percentage (i.e. attacking only), or does it refer to both "Critical Hit" and "Spirited Defense" percentages? In other words, does 'critical hit' in the territory bonus description refer to the game-specific "Critical Hit", or is it the abstract critical hit, which encompasses any situation (offensive or defensive) in which extra-powerful hits occur?
I ask because I've got a couple territory slots that could be reassigned - I still need a bunch of defensive wins to unlock defender, and boosting my SD% would be huge (don't tell me to add points to defense, I've been doing that, but I started off with way too much energy because of my experience with other games like this and I'm playing catch-up now...). Kind've a pain in the ass to be in my situation - the best ways to boost your SD rate are to be a defender and to get the Tactical Shield, but I need a higher SD rate now if I want to accomplish either of those within the next few months...

For now, I want my territories to provide the best income possible. That would be achieved by buying 12 Fence Operations, theorically. However, a lot of cash is required for one to buy them as buying territories of the same kind make expenses grow, and it would take a LOT of time for them to payout.
Maybe it would be better to buy 1 of each of the 12 territories with best income? While I'd still be paying for what I wasted by building the Fence operations, I'd have already paid the territories of this second option, and already having profit.
Opinions?

There are maximum amounts of any given territory you can own - so you can't get 12 Fence Ops even if you had the cash. I have pretty good cashflow with 2 Fence Ops, 2 Olive Oil Importers, 2 Tomato Sauce Importers, a Wine Importer, and 2 Drug Labs, plus a few extras for mission reqs or bonuses. Doubling or tripling up on territories is expensive in the beginning, but the increased income potential over time is definitely worth it, unless you're just going to be using these territories to make some short-term cash and then sell them for territories with bonuses (in which case you probably have better routes to take).
Remember, if you double up on a territory, upgrade one before you start building up the second - it would suck to pay twice as much for every step of your second territory, instead of just the last step.

my apologies if this question is repetative, but what combination of items and properties will give me the fastest ENERGY regeneration?
Ice Pick Ogie
10-14-2009, 10:07 AM
OK, here is a starter energy build that we can discuss. I'm sure there are better ways so post up your ideas and I'll post the final version on pg1.
Build Type: Energy
Level Req: 63
Territories:
(3) Gated Mansion: +50 energy (x3= +150)
(3) Luxury Condo: 4% energy regen (4%=2.4sec, x3=7.2sec)
(3) High-Rise Residence: 2% energy regen (2%=1.2sec, x3=3.6sec)
(3) Fence Operations: $1,250 per hour
Total Bonuses
Income: $5,970hr
Health: None
Energy: +150 energy, 10.8 sec reduction in energy timer.
Stamina: none
Fight: none
Explanation: The energy build uses the gated mansion to jump max energy, and Luxury Condo and High-Rise Residence to increase the energy regeneration rate. It then uses 3 fence ops to jump the hourly income. The energy regeneration rate is shown as a reduction in the timer for the next energy refill.
The math on energy: We start with a base of 60 seconds per energy
60sec x 1% = 0.6 second reduction in the timer for every 1% increase in regeneration speed.
This build gives a net reduction of 18%
0.6 x 18 = 10.8 second reduction in the timer.
If you add in the 5% (3 sec reduction) from the slurpee machine you get 13.8 seconds off of the starting 60 seconds.
So you should be at 47 seconds (I believe the game averages down)

IMPORTANT
I think there might have been a major update to the pricing structure in the game.
I recently bought a Crematorium. I went to each location to check the price and it was consistently 68,400 and was available in every location. I finally bought the property in Coney Island (which previously didn't have any territories available for purchase).
Note that I did have the Real Estate Negotiator discount of 5% so the actual price of the Crematorium is 72,000. I was not using any character class that impacts territory.
It would appear that they have restructured the territory pricing setup so that each territory is available in every city at the same price.
1. Is this comment accurate for all territories?
2. If yes, need to know the new 'single price' for every territory.
This is obviously a major change to the way things have been if true and would require some heavy updates to the gdoc if true.

I'd like someone to confirm this, but it seems to me that territory availability and pricing has changed. It seems like territories are now available everywhere at the same price. A bit disappointing, because it was fun checking around, however, it does leave the strategy in territories, without the annoying detail of spending money zipping around to find availability and best price. Personally disappointing for me, but a good move by Playdom, in my opinion.
Mind you, this could simply be the result of gaining a Real Estate Negotiator, which I just did. Don't think so though. Seems like a deliberate (and smart) game modification.
PS I see Ogie beat me to this discovery. I think we've confirmed one another. :)

Too funny Shampound.
On a side note I updated the achievements sections on page 1 with the following:

A few updates to the gdoc have been added.
1. Due to the pricing methodology change for territory, the original pricing by location table has been moved to an appendix. Keeping it just in case the developer reverts.
2. A new Detailed Table View is under development. (completed minus unknown items)
- Updated the field descriptions for each category.
- This includes math on calculating regen timer reductions.
3. Added a new section 'Territory Impacting Classes, Avatar Items and Equipment'.
- This includes math on determining base price for anyone who want to help with pricing details.
Added thanks to Shampound as much of this was pulled from the Unique Loot thread.

Thanks a lot. I'll update the gdoc.
I'd like to put a strategy together for how to use territories to obtain the stat achievements once we get enough max territory information.
For example, if the Racetrack is a +6 to stamina, you could own 3 to +18 stamina. Then you would only need to get the base up to 32. Could do similar for energy and health to 2000 for platinum.
So keep those max territory numbers coming :D

I am currently in the Money Man class which gives a 5% increase in territory income.
The increase is not showing on any of the individual territories.
The collect button after 1 collect period does not show the increase.
Collecting the money does not net the bonus either.

I added a Return on Investment (ROI) field to the Table View on the gdoc.
Here is the explanation that was added:
Return On Investment(ROI):
The ROI field is used to determine how long it will take to start making money on a territory. Since you have to pay for a territory you don't actually start making money on a territory until you have received a return on your investment to cover the cost of the territory.
The ROI value shows the number of collection periods for each territory to cover your original investment.
Math on Return On Investment
ROI is determined by taking the price paid and dividing by the income from the income/min column. Income/min is considered 1 collection period.
For example:
Importer price = $36,000
Income/min = $1,050/150min
36,000 / 1,050 = 34.29 = 35 (Note: the number is always rounded up to cover any incremental cost)
The final value 35 shows that it will take 35 collection periods of 150 minutes each to get your money back from purchasing the territory.

made a correction today: I had previously stated that reduction in timers (energy, health, and stamina) rounded down. This is actually incorrect. It rounds up which is good news for us.
As an example I have a 7% active reduction in my health timer. The base timer starts at 3min or 180 seconds. 180 x 1% = 1.8 x 7 = 12.6. I show a reduction in my health time of 13 seconds, or 12.6 rounded up.

Build Type: Best Income Build (Level 46)
Level Req: 46
Territories:
(3) Fence Operations: $1,250 per hour
(3) Tomato Sauce Importer: $975 per hour
(3) Olive Oil Importer: $866 per hour
(3) Wine Importer: $771 per hour
Total Bonuses
Income: $11,586hr
Health: none
Energy: none
Stamina: none
Fight: none
Explanation: The best income build uses the maximum number available for all of the best income territories. This build does not give bonuses to any stat categories.

I think I have finalized a strategy for getting the stamina achievement via territories without having to put a ton of points into stamina.
You can view Fat Dragon's post on how to open this class (works well)

Since the slum tier is complete we can now determine the strategy to use territories to gain the energy achievement.
Energy
B 200
S 500
G 1000
P 2000

Great guide! Question: Right now I am using blocks of townhouses to regenerate energy faster as well as other territories for other things. If I sell these properties, do I lose their advancements like the extra health and stamina I got from buying them in the first place?

yes, enhancements are only active while you own the territories.

I'd be interested in stat effects for each of the teritories. also cost of making each level of the terotories and income for each type would be important to complete the guide

No the max ownable for Wine Importer is 3, so if you tried to buy the 4th you would get the limit reached message.

Completed the information on the dive bar tier today.
Pizza Parlor max ownable is 4
Diner: price is 20,250, max ownable is 4
Strip Club price is 24,000
Risorante price is 19,350, max ownable is 3
Italian Bakery price is 36,000, max ownable is 3
Escort Agency price is 37,800, max ownable is 3
Fancy Nightclub price is 50,500, max ownable is 3

So I adjusted the max ownable for the Wine Importer from 3 to 2 today. I'm not sure if this is because I own a lot of importer income properties or if the limit is just always 2.
Can someone spend some cash and check the Wine Importer max ownable?

Since the slum tier is complete we can now determine the strategy to use territories to gain the energy achievement.
Health
B 200
S 500
G 1000
P 2000
Don of Montepulciano

Another price for you.
Waste Management Co.: $61,600
Max income: $14,400
Max of 2.

Starting health is 100. And 114 stat points in health is a waste in my book, not worth it for 2 favor points.

Thanks. Do you have the max income #?
Totally in agreement with you on the health bonus...but good to have it in the guide anyways. Trying not to put as much opinion in the guide and just have the facts for people to make there own decisions.
That being said, I think with the fact that the hospital level goes up as your health increases, as well as the damage done in fights you don't really gain anything. The cost of healing is higher, the amount of fights you get before you are back in the hospital is roughly the same, and you really don't kill people or get killed less because your hospital level is higher.

Edit on post about a min after and added max income, you must have just missed it.
As for max health you would probably have less deaths since the attacker would have to have equal to or greater than your HP. It calculates damage based on whoever has less health. But idc about deaths since they added police badge, I went from 3 to 8 on the first day it was out (slightly better now since they increased FP cost).
Anyway, as you said opinion on health is not relevant for the guide, was just giving my 2 cents as usual. Keep up the great work.

My current setup is 3 Fence Ops, 3 Tomato, 3 Olive Oil, 2 Wine and 1 Importer. It shows limit reached on Tomato/OliveOil/Wine importers. So the thing I'm not sure about is if there is a limit on collective importer properties, say 8 is the max for combined importer upgrade properties. Originally we thought Wine was 3, but I am definitely seeing the limit reached at 2. That is why I need someone to check if possible.

Not sure what to do with this info, but it seems like something that would help people.
I've been doing the High-Roller class mission Open a High-Stakes Gambling Parlor in Chinatown, and it requires 1 Bottle of Top-Shelf Liquor per mission.
The Liquor is loot from the Landlord class mission.
I ended up 20 Bottles short.
So now I have to change back to Landlord class to get the 20 Bottles, then return to High-Roller class to complete Platinum mastery.
Advice: when doing the Landlord class mission, keep going for another 20 missions after getting Plat mastery, it'll save you messing around changing classes later.

I had the same problem, which was really annoying....but I think this is really for the mission mastery thread. One comment, the number received will vary by player, so you won't necessarily need 20 extra. If memory serves I think that you need around 170 to complete the plat.

If you're aiming for defense, then go for it (but you should probably hold on to the Chop Shops if that's the case, rather than replacing them as new territories come out). If you're looking to boost your revenue at all by this move, though, it's not a good idea - the initial cost of changing territories usually puts you at least a couple weeks from making a profit from them, as compared to the territories you replaced. This is even more notable as you buy multiples of the same territory, since the price goes up significantly.

Nice to see how each territory leads to another..
Is there a place somewhere that show what each territory is worth (tent it pas) as you progress up the line. Might help with knowing which to buy.
Also which one you HAVE to have to complete missions.
