So seeing as now you can buy FP through iTunes, i bought a pack, and added it, bought a nice new HG.

Then i got bored, so using my great skills of Googling how to do stuff, i had a look in the FP application's folder.

I found a folder inside it called FBConnect.bundle. Inside it there are all these images, which would be buttons, that say 'Connect with Facebook' etc.

I havent looked in the actual Mobsters: Big Apple one yet to see if the FB things are in there too, but my guess is that BA hasnt been updated since its release, and so it wouldnt have the Facebook things, whereas the favor point packs were released today, and they included the images so they didnt have to re-release them once they updated Big Apple with Facebook.

Now I can't be certain, but it would be a fair assumption that Facebook Connectivity will soon be available in the next update of Big Apple, if not, an update in the near future.

At the least, it proves that they are going to make it Facebook compatible as well, so yeah. I wonder if they will make a Mobsters 2 iPhone app? Maybe wait till it gets more successful

Yes, I can confirm Facebook compatibility. There will also be a number of bug fixes and adjustments to the game. No set release date, but we are working very hard in getting it out as soon as we can.

I give you a big thumbs up. Now I just have to find somebody in the nearby rooms that has set up a wireless network that I don't need a password for...or I can just go buy myself a router and do it myself...hmmmm...

I know i've asked this before but the biggest question for me is can we merge our iPhone account with our FB account and if not will we get credit for bought FP purchased thru app store?

They are working on Facebook being linked.

i think what he is asking is can he merge his iPhone (Playdom) account with a FaceBook account. i dont know if that would be very fair, as playdom users can get 30 HGs, so if u merged it with a FB account, it would get 30 extra hired guns

I do believe it still stands that Playdom ID users will not be able to merge with any other platform.

No, you CANNOT merge accounts. However you will be able to manage MySpace, Facebook and one (1) Playdom ID account on your phone/ipod touch.

This includes switching between beta characters, and having multiple MySpace or Facebook accounts on the same mobile device.

This was a feverishly requested feature so we made sure to put it in. The app isn't perfect, and will never duplicate the full desktop experience, but I think we are a lot closer to the mark for 1.1. Version 1.0 was very basic and missed a lot of elements that should have been in the original game.

I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised. :)

1.1 should allow you to manage multiple MySpace accounts.
