I think the godfather should the forums mobile
so it doesnt look all squished in when you use it on a phone or in a psp

That would probably be the only thing I would use the internet on my phone for. Of course lately the forums have become quite stale.

He could simply add a new "skin" (basically a theme/CSS layout) for people to choose from and add a Mobile one on it.
